  • Abstract
    To do research on the influence of three factors, such as the preload, the ambient pressure and the ambient temperature, on the V type Linear ultrasonic motor (V-LUSM), this study does experiments by using V-LUSM in abnormal environment. This study sets the preload as the main factor, meanwhile considering the influence of ambient pressure and temperature. In the experiments, the study measures the moment of force and the velocity of V-LUSM in different environment made up of different preload, pressure and temperature. Comparing all datum partitioned by those three factors above, the study can conclude that V-LUSM can work in the abnormal environment. The performance of V-LUSM is affected more by preload, and less by ambient pressure and temperature.
