Abstract :
This paper reports our simulation of the starting oscillation process in a 42 GHz gyrotron using MAGIC Tool Suite 2007. The computer model of the gyrotron is setup using the similar parameters in Ref[1]. We have looked into the mode competition and building up of oscillation process in this gyrotron´s model. Also, the simulation result is verified by its good agreement with that from CST Particle Studio 2013.
