  • Abstract
To review development of computer aided medicine design (computer aided medicine design, CADD) application in medicine research, and to explore the importance and limitations of CADD. Collect the domestic and foreign representative literature of new medicine in recent years; and make an analysis, conclusion and summary of successful examples of application of CADD technology in different phases of research and development. CADD plays an important role in confirmation and discovery of medicine target, in discovery and optimization of lead compounds, and in prediction of medicine pharmacokinetics and toxicological properties. But there are still some limitations. CADD has been widely used in all aspects of research and development of new medicine, which has a far-reaching influence for the new medicine development, but its calculation theory and technology still need continuous improvement and development, in order to better promote the research and development of new medicines.
