Multimedia technology is able to overcome most of the flaws in traditional sports teaching by integrating the advantages of various media. However, its superiority in sports teaching hasn´t yet fully reflected due to the subjective and objective reasons. Under this condition, we write this article to deepen the understanding of majority sports teachers for multimedia technology, solve the difficulty of its application, and increase the penetration rate. First of all, the problems existing in traditional sports teaching and the advantages of multimedia technology are introduced. After that, the implementation strategies of multimedia sports teaching are expounded.
