Abstract :
The modeling of the gear system of wind turbine yaw system with impact was investigated. Based on dynamics of flexible multibody system theory, dynamic equations of the gear system were established. According to Newton´s collision model, the dynamics model of the gear system with impact is established. Then the gear system was simulated to obtain the history of the impact force and the angular acceleration. The result shows that the vibration regularity of the outer ring can be revealed by the sudden change of angular acceleration. And the result provides a reference of the bearing dynamic simulation runs.
