  • Abstract
    Geomagnetic induced currents or the DC current component in converter transformers could easily lead to the phenomenon of DC magnetic bias. However, the DC bias is the main reason for the transformer vibration and noise increases. Therefore, the level of noise and vibration is an important indicator of the reaction of transformer operation in DC magnetic bias state. Regarding the influence of dc magnetic biasing, this paper developed is suitable for use in ac transformer vibration and noise of the real-time monitoring system, and especially composing the corresponding data collection and analysis software that can achieve real-time monitoring of vibration time domain waveforms. A systematic analysis of the transformer vibration and noise of the change rule by dc biasing current. This paper studies the AC transformer vibration and noise monitoring method From the measuring point selection method, the idea of monitoring and evaluation of monitoring results and other aspects. At the same time, provides a basis for the analysis of transformer failures that may exist.
