  • Abstract
    Research on auditorium´s seat density of the theater is one of the most important aspects in theater research. The right seat density not only insures the comfort and evacuation of the audiences, but also improves the economic benefit, performance effect and acoustics quality. The seat density has the trend to reduce continually, but the disadvantage should be studied carefully. To choose the right width, row spacing and the pattern of the chairs, is one of the most important factors of the theater design and operation.
