The Research in Planning and Design for Landscape Architecture

With increasingly worsening of living environment and ecological environment, landscape architecture is shouldering the arduous responsibility. However, due to various reasons, the digital process of landscape planning and design has been behind the times. This paper introduces digital current predicament of landscape planning and design, and presents the necessity of the promotion of digital landscape planning and design. It gives the definition, characteristics and the concept of digital system of landscape planning and design, analyzes the concept of main digital design method and application software platform, and summarizes the flow chart of landscape digital planning and design. In the end, the limitations and errors of digital design are analyzed.
