  • Abstract
Due to increase in the number of data centers, which pertain to electrical energy cost, peak power dissipation, cooling and carbon emission. Nowadays, power consumption is one of the major issues for the operation and maintenance of data centers. Hence, IT industry is moving towards cloud environment to provide and consume resources in an optimal power conservative manner. The monitoring of Quality of Service (QoS) in service computing has been one of the functionality provided by the system. The efficient utilization of available resources will be based on the measurement of systems energy related parameters. In this paper, an energy conservative framework is proposed for private cloud setup with improved performance.
