Abstract :
A spread spectrum technology is known to be able to expand the distance of wireless communications by improving the processing gain. However, the effective processing gain is decreased due to the phase shift between the two transceivers. We have studied the compensation algorithm of this phase shift, and its performance has been evaluated by a computer simulation. This paper shows some experimental results of wireless communication using spread spectrum with this algorithm on handheld transceivers.
