The Ninth International Conference on Ecological Vehicles and Renewable Energies (EVER2014) was technically cosponsored by the IEEE Industry Applications, Power Electronics, and Magnetics Societies. The review process has led to the acceptance of seven of the 15 submitted papers which are published in this issue of the IEEE Transactions on Magnetics.
