Abstract
By analyzing the spatially anisotropy of 10-minute average wind speed data from 299 automatic weather observing stations in Jilin Province, this paper put forward a new nested variogram model based on a multiple-direction analysis and conducted data interpolation with Ordinary Kriging method in both nested model and traditional single model. Based on a comparative analysis, the nested model is proved to be more accurate in wind speed interpolation.
