Abstract
Most studies of Web service selection are based on one hypothesis that all the service requesters had the same QoS preferences. In this case, the utility function is unique. However this hypothesis is inconsistent with the reality circumstance in which requesters´ QoS preferences are different. We can classify the service requesters by introducing AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method into the requester utility function generation. Experiment results show that both providers´ expected revenues and requesters´ utilities can be improved by AHP.
