Abstract :
This paper presents a hybrid algorithm for an automatic voltage regulator (AVR), and particularly to using a fuzzy sliding mode control and a radial basis function network (RBFN) as driving control of a power system stabilizer (PSS) to control the output power. Through hybrid control of the two modes, optimum stable operation of a power generation system is achieved by on line learning of a recurrent radial basis function network (RRBFN).
