Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a new similarity measure between intuitionistic fuzzy values based on the medians of intervals, the Hausdorff distance, and the hesitancy degrees of intuitionistic fuzzy values. Most of the existing similarity measures between intuitionistic fuzzy values ignored the importance of hesitancy degrees and are focused on the truth-membership part and the false-membership part of intuitionistic fuzzy values. In this paper, besides the truth-membership part and the false-membership part of intuitionistic fuzzy values, we take hesitancy degrees into consideration and develop a new similarity measure between intuitionistic fuzzy values. We also show some properties of the proposed similarity measure and make a comparison of the experimental results of the proposed method with some existing methods. The proposed method can overcome the drawbacks of some existing methods for measuring the degree of similarity between intuitionistic fuzzy values.
