Abstract :
Corrosion characteristics of different proportions of 0# diesel and biodiesel on metal were studied at the room temperature in this paper. The experimental results show that metal all are corrupted by different proportions of 0# diesel and biodiesel. The corrosion of metal is enhanced along with increasing of biodiesel in sample. After 45 days, in B0, B10, 50, B100 oil sample, the corrosion rate of aluminum is 0.130/00, 0.280/00, 0.330/00, 0.410/00 respectively, the corrosion of copper rate is 0.380/00, 0.480/00, 0.580/00, 0.600/00 respectively, the corrosion of iron rate is 0.300/00, 0.390/00, 0.660/00, 0.910/00 respectively. The corrosion resistance of iron is worst while the aluminum is the best among three metals. The results could offer consult for deposit, transportation of biodiesel, and choice of oil-supplied pipe in diesel engine.
