IEEE societies inauguration report

Summary form only given, as follows. IEEE Computer Society, IEEE Communication Society, IEEE Signal Processing Society was inaugurated at SECE on 22.04.2013. Mr.T.S.Rangarajan head, IEEE Madras section was the chief guest. Dr.Sudha Mohanram, Principal SECE welcomed the gathering. Mr.T.S.Rangarajan inaugurated the various IEEE Societies at SECE and during his presidential address he spoke about the importance and benefits, of IEEE Societies in colleges. He also gave valuable guidelines for the students to carry out their research effectively. He gave guidance on how to approach and obtain funds from IEEE Societies which was an eye opener for the students. Apart from that technical events were organized for the PG students and the prizes and certificates were awarded for the winners. All department HODs, Faculty members and PG students participated and graced the occasion. The function ended on a high note.
