Abstract :
In wireless communication, transmitted signals under goes various impairments. Out of them “FADING” has been reported most important and difficult in the literature. Generally it is modelled statistically.Practically it is not possible to estimate perfectly the information over wireless channel at the receiver. By investigating the probability density function of the different fading channel we can derive analytical expressions for probability of error (SER/BER). These expressions are used to compute performance degradation due to channel´s fading behaviour. However, there is no generalized expression for any performance measure. So, in this research paper we have presented up to date performance analysis based on BER considering different modulation techniques. Also, as per our best knowledge we have taken all the “FADING”distributions available in the literature till date.We, hope that this paper will help both academic as well as industry research by providing all the fading at one place along with their complete performance analysis.
