Abstract :
This paper proposes a novel design of self-reconfigurable environment data monitoring system based on wireless sensor network (WSN). The system consists of three parts: sensor nodes, sink node and data monitoring center. The design supports a reliable point to point transmission by using a unique algorithm that employs PIC12F675 microcontroller. It also can detect the failure in transmission and reconfigure itself immediately. The mentioned algorithm can be applied to other embedded wireless modules and sensors. The design possesses a high-speed operation at baud rates up to 9600kbps, due to the use of the PIC microcontroller. The high-speed operation and high-accuracy of the proposed system make it suitable for real time monitoring applications.
