Abstract :
A novel and blind detection scheme for the asymmetric Paired Carrier Multiple Access (PCMA) satellite communication system is proposed in the paper. Recently, the asymmetric application mode of PCMA, which is efficient and pragmatic in the VSAT network, has been studied with great interest. In our research, the symbol interference cancellation and Forward Error Correction (FEC) coding are introduced to remove the influence on the detection of weak signal instead of reconstructing the big carrier. As shown in the simulation results, the proposed scheme performs well at the low Signal to Noise Ratios (SNR) scenario which is typical in the asymmetric PCMA systems.
