Abstract :
This paper introduces the popular applications of Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6), depicts the architecture (general header and extension header) in details; analyzes the authentication headers of transport mode and tunnel mode, and finally points out that both advantages and disadvantages coexist in Internet Protocol Security (IPsec).
