Abstract :
A mathematical model and a genetic algorithm are proposed to solve a logistics network optimization problem. Combined with the characteristics of urban logistics and e-commerce, the sum of transportation costs, construction costs and maintenance costs are considered in the model to describe the total logistics cost in the network. Since the model is an NP problem, the genetic algorithm is used to solve it. At last, an example is applied to verify the model. From the analysis of the result, it is clear that the mathematical model can effectively solve the logistics network optimization problem and the genetic algorithm is an appropriate integer programming algorithm.
