Abstract :
This article presents the results of WebRTC trials conducted in a partnership between Telekom Innovation Laboratories (T-Labs) and PT Inovacao e Sistemas under the project called WONDER. The main achievement of WONDER project was the design and validation of the new "Signalling-On-the-fly" (SigOfly) concept. This concept ensures interoperability between any WebRTC administrative domains without the need to use a standardized signalling protocol such as SIP. This result paves the way for the design of a new more agile and competitive service architecture as an alternative to the current IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) architecture.
