Abstract :
This article deals with decentralized diagnosis, where a set of diagnosers cooperate for detecting faults in a discrete event system. We propose a new framework, called multi-decision diagnosis, whose basic principle consists in using several decentralized diagnosis architectures working in parallel. The multi-decision is firstly presented in its generic form with the motivation to generalize all the architectures working in parallel. Then, the multi-decision is studied and illustrated in detail in the special case of disjunctive architectures running in parallel.
