Abstract
Identification in closed-loop of an induction motor drive can be useful either for controller re-tuning, motor analysis or for fault detection purposes. Depending on the aim of the model and on the controller design, the parameters to be identified are not the same. It is useful to apply methods that are not restrictive concerning the initial conditions knowledge. In this paper, the models to be identified are based on the stationary reference frame fixed to the stator and their state-space representations are identified off-line, on a simulated system. From these models, the control design can be further realized and the motor physical parameters can be derived.
