Abstract :
This paper presents new stability conditions for continuous-time Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) models and, by extension, a wide class of nonlinear systems. The stability conditions are derived by using a non quadratic Liapunov function. The results are presented in a Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) formulation. An extension to the case of stabilization with different types of controllers is also proposed here.
