Abstract
Vehicular Adhoc Network (VANET) is wireless communication between vehicle to vehicle and vehicle to roadside infrastructure. Rapid response with tough timing limitations and perfect packet delivery system is very necessary for protocol. Non-DTN, DTN and hybrid Protocols minimizes average end-to-end delays and routing overheads but they behave contrarily in different situations. By using different communication range in proposed protocol for public and private vehicles, packet is delivered to greater distance effectively and by comparing the result on three scenarios with GPRS. Packet delivery ratios and routing overheads in all the three scenarios are better and uniform as compared to existing protocol.
