Abstract :
In this note we present an extended Luenberger-like observer for some class of discrete-time nonlinear systems in the single-output case. First of all. we define the so-called uniform observability structure and give an associated canonical form. Next we use this canonical form to design a simple observer based on the pole placement technics. Finally we apply the observer to a bioreactor and we present simulation results.
