Abstract :
The control characteristic of fuzzy controllers depends essentially on the rule base and the membership functions of the linguistic terms of the controller inputs and outputs. Often the rule is developed by statements of operators or experts. Therefore an analysis of the rule base is useful in order to prove its completeness and admissibility. For this checks a mathematical formulation of the rule base is suitable. The contribution shows how this problem can be solved by using multi-valued logic functions with different numerical bases. An analysis of rule bases helps to eliminate errors of the fuzzy controller outputs.
