Abstract :
A fuzzy logic controller for the distributed collector field of a solar power plant is presented in which the design is performed automatically by means of genetic algorithms. The obtained controller has been tested both with a nonlinear computer model of the plant and by performing real plant tests showing a correct behaviour, not only for the experiments used during the design, but for a wide range of situations. A comparison with a fuzzy logic controller based in the designer experience is also performed.
