Abstract
The constrained receding horizon predictive control (CRHPC) is extended to multi-input multi-output (MIMO) systems. The proposed control strategy can guaranty the closed-loop stability. The concept of different control horizons for inputs and different constraint horizons for outputs is introduced. Thanks to this concept, is shown that the multivariable CRHPC design can be made to be equivalent to the deadbeat control by certain choices of the tuning parameters.
