Abstract :
The algebraic formulae for the full information H∞ optimal compensator are presented in terms of the open-loop plant transfer functions. They admit a direct generalization to the infinite-dimensional case. The new approach proposed is based on the new results in the polynomial matrix factorization theory including the algebraic connection between a solution of the state-space Riccati equation and polynomial matrices of the plant equation.
