Abstract :
In this paper an iterative procedure of identification and control design is applied to a pneumatic servo system. A procedure of designing the proposed controller is presented. By introducing an additional analog proportional controller, the plant structure is modified. This modification combined with the iterative procedure lead to a considerable improvement of the closed-loop performances, compared with the case when the plant structure is not modified.
