Abstract :
This paper deals with the construction of H∞-filters for flexible structures, that are robust against uncertainties in the damping of the system. Sufficient conditions for the existence of such filters are analytically given in terms of topological restrictions for two real parameters. An iterative scheme is proposed to construct robust filters with decreasing maximal filter error.
