Abstract :
Perturbation bounds for the H∞ control problem are derived. Both linear local (asymptotic) and nonlinear nonlocal bounds are given. The linear bounds are obtained in terms of condition numbers on the basis of the Fréchet derivatives of the left-hand side of the corresponding Placcati equation. The nonlinear bounds are obtained after rewriting the perturbation problem as an operator equation (with nonunique solution) and applying the Brouwer fixed point principle.
