Abstract :
Inversion of rational matrices, or more specially polynomial matrices has been under investigation for about 50 years. In this paper we propose new algorithms for the distinct forms of the problem. The algorithms are based on the calculation of a minimal polynomial basis for the kernel of a polynomial matrix, as implemented by Beelen.
