Abstract :
In this work, we propose a new methodology to study the control of a class of manufacturing systems, more precisely of opened assembly manufacturing lines. Our contribution is based on the variable speeds and the controlled maximal speeds continuous Petri net modelling. The computation of the control is made using standard linear programming methods. A study leading to a characterisation of the domain of accessible markings is presented.
