Abstract :
Stability and performance properties of a wind power plant are analyzed. In particular, the nonlinear effects of time-varying wind speed are considered. The stability analysis makes use of the Nyquist theorem, the Circle Criterion, and a generalization for periodic perturbations. The robust performance analysis is done by optimization of linear matrix inequalities.
