Abstract :
This paper describes an algorithm for the conversion of a row-like polynomial matrix to a row-reduced form. The algorithm is based on conversion to standard state-space realization followed by state space to polynomial matrix conversion. The algorithm avoids polynomial matrix operations. This is achieved by constant matrix operations performed in well proven algorithms from the numerical linear algebra.
