Abstract :
The paper is divided into two parts. First, a result on stabilization for a class of nonlinear triangular systems using chain of saturations is presented. The procedure is based on a Lyapunov backstepping technique as well as on a weak version of the ISS property. A second aim of this note is to derive sufficient conditions for the existence of adaptive feedback stabilizer for triangular parameterized systems. The backstepping design scheme constitutes an extension of a recent contribution of Kristic-Kokotovic.
