Abstract :
In this paper an approach to adjustment and reduction of the number of parameters controlling simple 2D to 3D image conversion schemes is presented. With the reported experiments five 2D to 3D conversion methods were examined and compared. The controlling parameters were experimentally adjusted by the viewers. The results of experiments indicate a linear dependence between the parameters. Thus it is possible to reduce them to only one parameter.
