Abstract :
Unlike traditional Finite Element Method (FEM), Adaptive FEM meshes the continuum iteratively where bigger error crops up, leaving the regions meeting specified tolerance error unaltered. In this paper mesh refinement using triangular finite elements as well as quadrilateral finite elements are executed and the quality of mesh elements related to aspect ratio is examined. For this work, Single Sided Linear Induction Motor is employed as an experimental research entity.
