  • Abstract
    Pre-filtering is necessary before the edge detection when images corrupted by additive noise. However, this process degrades image details. In this paper, a new edge detection from images that corrupted by mixed noise is proposed. The proposed method is combined edge detection and noise reduction by fuzzy inference in order to extract image edges from noisy images, correctly.
