Abstract :
This paper analyses the outage performance of a coded cooperative communication system over weak atmospheric turbulence regime. We model the atmospheric turbulence induced fading channels with log-normal distribution which is practically suitable in weak atmospheric turbulence regime. All the channels are considered to be independent but not necessarily identical. The closed form expression of the outage probability for a two user based coded cooperative system model is derived.
