Abstract :
Hot Spot Analysis (Getis - Ord Gi*) using long term pre-processed MODIS 250M - NDVI data for a selected watershed study site has been carried out for the period 2001 to 2012 to observe the changes in NDVI values. The overall spatial changes in the hot spots has been visually observed and compared with the incidence year of the water harvesting structures such as check dams. It is observed that after the development of water harvesting structures there is a change in the NDVI values within the sub watershed.
