Abstract :
Chronic diseases, such as diabetes, exact a considerable social and fiscal burden, both in the United States and worldwide. Diet, exercise and in general the lifestyle can help enormously to manage diabetes. However, especially for children it is not easy to manage diabetes. In this paper we present the design of an Integrated and Personalized Diabetes Coach for Children. In particular, we focus on the game interface of our system. We think that our system will have a great impact in managing diabetes in children.
