  • Abstract
A linear parameter variable (LP)V) model of a missile is described and a robust controller designed using feedback linearisation techniques and Kharitonov analysis. The internal dynamics are shown to be stable if an augmented lateral acceleration is used as the output, and the resulting design is analysied using Kharitonov techniques to establish stability boundaries. The boundaries are found for two cases of uncertainty: that of aerodynamic coefficients and controller gains. The paper confirms the results by use of nonlinear simulation.
