Abstract :
In this paper, a benchmark problem definition for the controller reconfiguration task is given. The problem is to find a new control strategy if a fault in the technical plant has occurred. The proposed benchmark plant is a system of coupled tanks. A detailed system description for the nominal behaviour, three different fault scenarios and the reconfiguration task are presented.
