  • Abstract
    The anaerobic digestion is a very efficient process to degrade organic matters of the wastewater. An original model of the anaerobic digestion in a fluidised bed is presented, where the hydrodynamical part is described by an axial dispersion model. We extended the asymptotic observer based on the works of Bastin and Dochain for a new type of reactor with complex hydrodynamics. We applied this new observer to our bioprocess and validate it through realistic simulations.
