  • Abstract
A compact low profile UWB-MIMO antenna for breast cancer detection is proposed. Two square patches are used in perpendicular to each other in order to achieve good pattern diversity. Two ground stubs etched on the ground plane enhance isolation and increase impedance bandwidth. Simulation has been carried out using CST Microwave studio. Results show that the UWB-MIMO Antenna has an impedance bandwidth of larger than 3.1-11.57 GHz and very good isolation up to 20 dB, making it a good candidate for microwave imaging.
